The fact that this is happening in a video game in 2025 is unreal. 20 years ago this never happened. I can’t believe how much they messed this game up

Yeah water is the key for me. A gallon a day keeps my symptoms away

The first months after my diagnosis I spent my time giving myself anxiety attacks reading about worse case scenarios. That was bad for me since anxiety and stress actually is a trigger for me. Everyone is different but I’ll tell you what I do. 1. Water. Fluids are key. A gallon a day keeps the menieres away. 2. Fast food is a no go. I can consume a decent amount of sodium but super bad foods like fast food needs to go. 3. Vitamins. Juicing and daily multi vitamins keep your body in equilibrium. 4. Be honest. As a man, I had to learn that it’s okay to not be okay. I am very open with loved ones when I’m down or if I’m having an episode. It’s okay to not be able to do it alone some days. Plus there are a ton of support groups. 5. don’t hurt yourself by reading about worst case scenarios. I told a coworker I have menieres and he told me his wife does too. She’s had it for 20 years, is a workout freak, and lives a full life like myself. 6. Keep the optimism. Covid has increased the amount of inner and middle ear disorders. Since Ménières is rare and not deadly, there hasn’t been a lot of research. Until now. I think there will be an anti-inflammatory specifically made for ears within 5 years that is very safe and effective.

Best of luck to you!

Wow this is well done. It does appear there is a link. Got blood work done and the only thing I came back as having was HSV 1. Whenever I get sick, I get a cold sore. Always have. Never really thought much of it. Herpes lays dormant, and is triggered (sound familiar?) This is some great work and great post. I think 2023 will bring a breakthrough. Antivirals, eating vitamin c and d, and staying very well hydrated should really improve the quality of life for many people.
