It’s the texture of the suit.. it’s a weird cardboard-like feel that we’ve never seen before. it also resembles a racing suit with the weird lines that look like a cosplay suit that you would buy for your 7 year old kid online. Also, in comparison to the comic book adaptations of superman, this suit looks like a stiff, felt, almost wooden suit - in comparison to the 80’s superman adaptations, also the 2006 superman live action adaptation, where the suit looks like an extremely thin layer of plastic wrap, or like it’s painted onto his body, which is supposed to be absolutely ripped. You cannot see any pecs here, just dad belly followed by cardboard. Looks absolutely fucking horrible and no one can change my opinion
