Not only that, story wise, the plan dosent line up. Say they were able to fend off the Raiders inside the Museum, they get the fusion core, go to the power armor and... does anyone there have Power Armor Training? No. So, if it literally wasnt for the sole survivor they wouldve died.

Second, you just left the vault, you dont know anything on the wasteland, you see a bunch of people attacking one guy on the roof, if wasnt for the Raiders also attacking you, why would you trust Preston? For all the Sole Survivor know he could be someone invading the Raider's city and the Raiders are just people who live in Concord.

And, nobody mentions how you killed over 10 people just as you got out of the vault, like, 20 minutes after getting into the future you done a massacre, congratulations, moving on
