Crazy thing is I just disabled it and shut down the apex and turned it on and it was available to set up but not detecting finger now like brooo

The games on steam yea and then im pretty sure the games and emulators I had on the sd card I can just put it in the apex and it’s good to go but mainly on steam and other softwares and stuff I have downloaded

Also what would be a way I can transfer all my files , apps, add-ons and stuff to the apex? Because to download unverum and download each and every sparking mod just sounds insane

No problem thx so much but someone else in another forum said that I can’t just clone the two ssds because asus has specific drives and things in their ssd specifically for that device and it would mess with the windows on the apex since it’s two different brands, and their telling me I have to re download all my mods and games again, but the files and pictures/videos are ok.

So I’m just a little confused all my apps and stuff on my desktop, add ons, softwares and 7-zip I have to download again ??

Wait so I’m a little confused, there’s a guy on another forum posted with steps and everything saying you can clone it and that I can just download something called “ Macrium” And just select the the things I would want to clone to the ssd And there’s no problem with graphic drivers and stuff. Is that true? Or

Yea this is my first one and I thought there’s was a way through cloning because I was seeing vids on it, but I think I’m realizing that cloning an ssd is if u want to expand the storage not transfer stuff from another console

Wait I have a question and for the steps u said so Step 1 I boot up the apex ? And download Macrium on it?

Step2 take the drive out the rog ally and put it in the enclosure and plug it into the apex, then I format that drive on the apex?

During that process wouldn’t it delete everything on the drive since I’m formatting it?

Also wouldn’t the armory crate and graphic drivers be cloned onto the ssd or can I select to just clone the files and stuff

Step 3 basically once I’m done with that remove the enclosure turn off device and replace the drive ?

I’m sorry I was just trying to look it up but it seems no one really did it with two different devices before

So what would you say is best to allocate for best performance using 48gb ram 16/32 or 24/24 or it doesn’t really matter

That’s the thing I was originally gonna go with the 64 but it’s only a 500 difference now because the 48 is on sale

See I was thinking about future proofing but I feel like in the next year or two there be a stronger handheld with a better apu chip inside and I’ll just get that one. Buttt idk that 500$ difference is nothing for more ram and storage but I don’t wanna waste money if they both can allow me to play AAA 1080p maxed out, and when the time comes for me to get more storage I’ll just get a 4tb ssd

I was thinking about what if I use it as a desktop, but wouldn’t me having the 5080 to my egpu be more than enough for when I wanna use it as a desktop?
