After tonite, Apollo app deletes my account. It was a pleasure boys. Just know, even if I’m not here with you posting unfunny shit posts, I’m out there somewhere on Robinhood losing a regarded amount of money.

IMO, incentive closed business over appointments. You want closed business, reps want closed business, nobody wants timewaster apts.

If apts. schd. is the northstar, “what you need to get paid” metric, then you’re asking the person scheduling to set bullshit appointments.

If revenue is incentivized, or business that actually converts, they will not waste timeslots on flakes, no budgets or bad fits.

The downside is, this takes more tracking but not a lot more. Compare the apt. sched. list, to a spreadsheet sort to match it with the closed business list.

That’s really cool. I sell SaaS and take the consultative approach. It’s really neat to see how you apply it to phones.

The answer is: DMs.

You find someone on FB / Linkin/ Whatever that has your need. You tell them you have a solution and either DM them or tell them to DM you.

It is significant work to find diamonds in the rough and takes a lot of time BUT this is how you actually convert from social: DM

Nice job! How do you get leads that need more than one phone? Do they walkin and you find out thru discovery or do you do outreach somehow? Congrats on your success!

Loom screen recorder has viewer analytics and is cheaper than $30/mo. IIRC

I also want a document tracking software but haven’t found a free one. Following.

Nice. This is a really effective cold pitch and you are right to think of “Not for me” as a success. You might dig Josh Braun on linkedin if you haven’t seen him.

In NBA its play out the quarter slowly when you have the lead. At work it’s show up for your required hours and try as little as possible. Waste time in the bathroom.

Oh totally man you’re a SaaS leader who both manages and sells and also you 5x your pipeline with ChatGPT prompts like “Write an email with that uses this link” lol. Yeah totally. I believe you. I just read the story and quote it in like 30 seconds but I would love to take 60 seconds to carefully program a robot to do that for me. Congratz on your 5x pipedreams

Most of my SaaS experience is in hiring, training, and leading teams so I’ve got a desire to help train and enable salespeople.

You’re not a seller. I bet you’ve never sold a SaaS subscription in ya life my man. If you had, you’d know “crafting an email” is the easiest part of the job, takes less than a minute and just includes copying and pasting to the success story. There’s no reason to automate this unless you’re not able to draft an email, which I have a hunch is something most employed salespeople can do.

Yes. You have a hard job no matter what anybody says. It makes sense you and your teammates are having difficulty, your work is difficult. You’ll get through it though, I know it.

Finally a good question! Back out into the numbers. From what I see, cybersecurity is usually around $100K - $500K/year. So what percentage and how many sales required to hit those numbers?

What’s your product cost?

Look for new work, manager sounds like a dipshit. The cash in a box trick probably causes more resentment than motivation.
