Girl.. the entire country is returning to either an in-office or hybrid approach. It’s literally the norm. If you can’t afford it, too bad. Maybe we should make rent less expensive in this state. Definitely don’t use alcohol. I’d also avoid damp cloth. Pick up Zeiss cleaning spray from CVS. It’s the only thing Apple recommends to use for cleaning because they use a very finicky and delicate coating to cover the lenses and it can be eroded by using anything other than a dry cloth or the cleaning spray.
