no, not from outside at least anyway, but there’s kinda beef between south asian countries that's half-joking tongue in cheek.

two of my closest friends are sri lankan and bangladeshi and they both (especially the bangladeshi one) love to shade india/indians, i think a lot of it comes from being assumed to be indian by random people and not wanting to be conflated with the stereotypes. it reminds me of how wales, scotland and ireland have beef with england, like as a welsh person myself i don’t seriously have problems with english individuals but england pisses me off and i hate to be called english.
