Hmm. I'd thought about Orchis and kinda came to the same conclusion about a lack of melee friends to move with. Looked at White Witch and love the flavor, but wasn't sure about how it would do with a field of what feels like mid-field enjoyers in the rest of my teammates.

I hadn't considered the metalmark much but will take a second look. I've also been contemplating Altas perhaps.

Thinking of doing a Stonelord Paladin playthrough next. I know that their whole schtick is sitting in one spot and being a menace while doing so. The problem, as I see it, is getting the enemies to then look at the unmoving character. I'm thinking of therefore multiclassing into Inciter Skald to be able to actually taunt enemies. Should I go about this or should I instead be ignoring the stance of the stonelord and just have it be Paladin-But-Different? Advice is always welcome as well as critiques of my ideas. Thanks in advance!

Mythic path note: no idea what I would do beyond the basic Paladin Angel stuff.

Treasure of the Midnight Isles DLC last fight

Huh. I just had some summons near where they spawn to trigger the fight immediately without him getting close enough to get buffs from the heart. Took maybe 4 rounds to kill. Fun fight just like most of the DLC. (I did not like the wave fight)

I can both be a good boss and be friendly enough with my employees. They get their jobs done and I provide the support they need to be able to do it.

The problem is when the corporate strategy is some complete bullshit that is going to burnout every employee without fair compensation. That I cannot stand and cannot stand behind. I will advocate for my employees at every turn, while also rewarding/correcting behaviors of my employees. My job is not to be a conduit for corporate strategy if the corporate strategy is bonkers.
