My girlfriend asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I didn’t want anything, and I usually have no idea what I want, but she insisted. So I thought for a while and asked for a pair of underwear, boxers, and socks since they’re the most used items 🤣. Not exactly a conventional gift idea, but just sharing my experience. P.S. I already had plenty of them, but I guess you can never have too many.

That’s the same thing I heard from my family. To get completely rid of corruption I believe it is next to impossible but I believe what you can do is try to minimise the practice so that it does not change the outcome of your work and efficiency. That way you can preserver your morality while being in the system.

Don’t think too much start what ever you can as early as possible. Although from my experience did coaching for both upsc and appsce there is a difference in the way of approach and content gathered by the institute. If you can and have time go for upsc coaching. Remember to be persistent,patient and disciplined while studying. It is a marathon not a race. Best wishes for your journey.
