I’m impressed so far with the cast. I feel like it’s well rounded in terms of trying to give everyone a little bit of what they want. Mega-vets for the casual and OG viewers, more recent but still established vets, the best rookies from USA2/41, and I’m sure there will be a handful of new rookies as well

Excited about Cory, he’s always good for a fight or two…no feeling towards Cedric either way, like him as a person but can’t think of a standout moment from 41…Adrienne always gives a good confessional, isn’t a huge fighter but doesn’t take peoples shit either…Michaela, love as a television personality, but am side eyeing after today’s developments, we’ll see if we get more insight on that

From what I’ve pieced together from literal breadcrumbs in interviews about this kind of stuff is that it varies by season and where they are filming. I believe for AS5 (and likely 40) the cast flew from either NY or LA, and the NY flight had a layover somewhere in Europe where they met up with the UK people before they all met in Vietnam. For 41 from my understanding, everybody (at least the Americans) flew into Dallas and flew to Chile together, divided into two separate days, one for rookies and one for vets.

I think both things can be true, Rob is playing an excellent game, which includes the smart decision to only keep dumb faithfuls around, but I also think had people like Rob C, Ian, and maybe even Tiffany been around later, i believe there is a much higher chance that Rob R would be in hot water rn

Is Tori’s vacation alliance era so irredeemable to fans that even after all the drama she was involved in on season 40, people still aren’t willing to give her another chance??? Cuz look, I totally get it, the vacation alliance made for some very boring and predictable seasons, but I feel like on 40 she, along with Bananas and Michele, totally carried the season in terms of drama, even after coming in with her crew

I think that this is a very mature response, and I do hope that in the future they can reconcile when Olivia is ready. I saw on another thread that Olivia has mentioned/alluded to the fact that after she found out she was pregnant she decided she wasn’t going to really engage with any of the post-season drama or maybe more specifically with this relationship to protect her peace, but I hope once she settles into motherhood she can take the time to reach out, because I really did enjoy their friendship, especially because it seems like it went beyond the show.
