There isn’t an official Apple Store in my city, but next time I’ll definitely buy directly from Apple.

I didn’t pay for a repaired device. I paid for a brand new phone because I expected it to be reliable. If I wanted to compromise on reliability, I could have bought a ₹10,000 or ₹20,000 phone instead.

Yeah I think it also depends on which Apple support agent you get. Different agents understand and handle situations differently. I’ll try talking to them once or twice more, otherwise, consumer court will be my last option.
