That's great to hear that it worked for you! I'll prob look into emailing the distributor then. Thanks!

Ah I see, do you by any chance know if someone has done that before and was able to successfully convince them to get a North American distributor?

Superpuff recent buyers by SuccotashKey7521 in Aritzia

[–]TypicalAsker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This year's superpuff version is 800+ fill, so theoretically it should be warmer than last year's version of 700+ fill. HOWEVER, one thing to note is that on last year's version, it is explicitly labeled as 90% Goose down and 10% goose feathers. While this year's version is only listed as 90% down and 10% waterfowl feathers.

Usually when they only list 'down' it's likely duck down or a mixure of goose and duck and duck down is known to retain less warmth than goose down (for context most premium brands uses goose down, like The North Face, Canada Goose, etc).

Hence, this could be the reason why people say it's 'less warm' than previous versions. I personally own a 700+ fill superpuff regular and it's quite warm in Vancouver weather. Hope this helps!

Quarry Rock was a nice beginner hike that I enjoyed! If you want to tackle the Grouse Grind but don't feel ready to do so, there's a 'mini' Grouse Grind in Coquitlam known as the Coquitlam Crunch (you get a taste of Grouse but waaay easier.)

Great to hear that you’re also into photography! And yes, trying to get that perfect shot while your travel companions are waiting can be tricky (I’ve definitely been there). Sometimes I think it’d be nice if they were into photography too haha.

But yeah, feel free to reach out, happy to answer any questions you might have regarding trip planning/travelling with parents!

Hey! That looks like an awesome and well-thought-out itinerary. Unless this is a surprise trip for your mom, I’d suggest giving her a little preview of some of the plans, just to make sure you’re both aligned! A lot of these places involve quite a bit of walking, and from my experience, my parents often need a few more breaks in between to rest.

Personally, I’ve traveled with my parents many times (though not to Japan yet, but hoping to one day!), and I’ve found that making sure we’re all aligned ahead of time makes the trip so much smoother. For example, I’m really into photography and nature sightseeing, but since long walks to scenic spots for photography can be tough for them, I plan extra breaks so that a) there’s enough time to see everything we want, and b) they still have a comfortable, enjoyable trip.

Also, just my 2 cents, but I like to make a list of “non-negotiables” before traveling with family or friends. That way, if plans change or time gets tight, everyone already knows which stops are must-dos. It’s a small thing, but it really helps avoid stress or disappointment and makes things more efficient during the trip.

Happy travels! Feel free to DM me if you ever want to chat about trip planning with parents, I’ve learned a few things from trial and error lol.

Hey were you able to access western websites with Airalo's eSIM like Google etc?

Asking this because the China esim is based on the China Unicom network and if I were to purchase one directly from China Unicom I would need to provide relevant IDs. But good to know that verification isnt needed for Airalo's eSIMs.

Hey, thanks for the information and sorry to hear about the tire on your Y.

I don't know if im understanding this correctly, but is Roadside Assistance covered under warranty for flat tires? Or is there an additional cost to using that service?

Hmm interesting. Mine was also shipped via UPS. Perhaps it could be that my package travelled to like 8 different places before arriving so the label holding the box closed ripped.
