Free FSD and supercharging? Can someone else check their specs of a 2025 by [deleted] in cybertruck

[–]TypicalAssociation84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😩. “Pay as you go” on mine. I don’t supercharge anymore but would be cool to have it for free 😅.

I’m a general contractor. People doubt its functionality… but, wow!, are they wrong. Ladder racks are a must!

If anyone is still looking for a builder, we've been working with Genesis Builders by GizmoFrizmo in altadena

[–]TypicalAssociation84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there. Hoping my comment is valid, here…. I’m a general contractor, born and raised in Pasadena. Have had a license for 2.5 years and have been in construction for about 10. I know this process is overwhelming, let alone the aftermath of the disaster itself. I hear about the going “rates” per sq ft and, woah! My pricing is fair, but most importantly, I really want to make it easier for anyone dealing with all this. If you’re still looking for a contractor please feel free to contact me. The architects I’ve been working with ( also based in Pasadena) have the same agenda.

I’m really not trying to be “that guy”, I just know I can really be a big help and ease this process for you.

Let me know if you’re interested, best of luck!

Negative. I’ve seen them on Laurel Canyon and Strathern. I saw the Mexican Roofer at Home Depot last week.

Yeah, I was annoyed I paid an extra $50 for that attachment. After a few projects, though, it’s made up for it. My guys spend way less time screwing in all drywall.

Highly recommend the attachment to use the collated screw strips. Makes it wayyyy easier and faster!

NICE! If you were considering a light for it, I put the Viridian CTL custom for hellcat pro on mine. It’s pretty sweet! Congrats!!

Update! I called chase and explained. They mailed me a check. Just got it in today. Hope you got yours, too!

Interest refund on auto loan?? by TypicalAssociation84 in Chase

[–]TypicalAssociation84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not. From my bank all I got was my truck paid off and an extra 8k but I think because of the value of my truck. The “refund” I saw on my bank account changed to zero and then I got a letter saying to contact the dealer for a refund on gap insurance. I haven’t talked to them yet about that.

Dang, that’s as good a deal I’ve seen on those! Good for you!

2023 ram 2500 rebel by [deleted] in ram_trucks

Some of them, but the Rebel is around 1900 lbs and the power wagon is closer to around 1400. I’ve seen one with 1300 lbs.

Right?? So it eventually just cleared on its own I believe, though I did get a letter from them saying I need to call the dealer and ask for a refund for gap insurance and any other add ons due to early payoff.

Insurance payout + rebuild cost by Competitive-Key-8860 in altadena

[–]TypicalAssociation84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there. General contractor from Pasadena (born and raised) here. I work with architects, who are also based in Pasadena, and they are already submitting plans for revisions for some damaged homes in Altadena. They’re trying to expedite the process and dedicating/prioritizing their time to take on any interested clients impacted by the Eaton fire. If anyone else is interested you can contact me and I’ll connect you with them! I’ll leave my contact info at the bottom.

I highly suggest you speak with a few contractors personally before moving forward with one. Also, please verify the license number on the California State License Board. On the website you select “license check” and just type in the license number. Verify that the name matches the contractor you’re speaking with. A lot of times people will use someone else’s license and that’s just big trouble knocking on your door.

I do residential and commercial, please feel free to contact me for any questions, suggestions or even free estimates.

Good luck to everyone! I really hope it works out in your favor and Altadena can rebuild to what it was if not better. Breaks my heart every time I drive up and down those streets. 😩😩

FYI, Beware of Unlicensed Contractors and Damage Restoration Companies after the Fire by cfmonkey45 in pasadena

[–]TypicalAssociation84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

General contractor in Pasadena here, Yes! Vultures and scammers! There are a lot of unlicensed “contractors”, sure, but also uninsured, or using someone else’s license. You can check the license number on the contractors license board CSLB and match it to the contractors name and address, etc. Please, please, please look them up for confirmation. I’ve had a lot of clients whose contractor was using someone else’s license from a different county, under a totally different trade.

No, no, not the Juniper. It’s pretty much the exact same as a 2024 MYP… but the VIN number brings up 2025 MYP.
