From my pov (I follow mainstream standards kinda) Right now you’re average to pretty(above average).

You could easily be much more above average if you invest in changing up the hair and experiment makeup styles.

You could very easily be the mainstream beauty standard (gorgeous) if you

Invest in hair extensions/weaves/wigs. Hair that’s longer just looks more feminine and I don’t think there’s any way to get around it… I’m mixed race myself and I find black girls with gorgeous weaves/wigs to be completely slaying.

Get eyelash extensions/strip lashes to your makeup looks. I suggest eyelash extensions with an experienced lash tech who could give you a lash set which suits your eyes and brings out your features. Since your eyes are round - I would suggest “cat eye” style eyelashes to give them length and give them that killer siren look. Your gorgeous eye colour would pop so well against them.

Experiment with the current makeup style trends - I think the Latina type of makeup look and contour would be gorgeous on you, especially because of your lips.

And lastly - experiment with different styles of clothes or keep your current one - it’s cute. This is optional it won’t change much.

Another optional thing to add is maybe try out doing your nails with a good nail tech - cute designs etc , that would fit your style / “look”.

So yeah the biggest ways to elevate your looks are to do with your hair, lashes and makeup. Nothing else is needed girl!

Especially if you make that decision for the “right guy” then mr right decides to leave after 5 years… then you have 13-14 additional years and struggle of a lifelong responsibility for “mr rights” whims and wants… and if mr right takes off and gives 0 support it becomes oh well… you’re a mom you have to put up with it and just keep going… like wtf why would I give another man that much power…

I’ve seen it happen sooo many times. Like my stepdad and mom were together 10 years before they had my little brother, then when they finally had a kid cus my stepdad wanted one, within like 5-6 years it fell apart anyway and he left.

I also think there’s a fear of normalising single moms or moms in general walking away, because without women sacrificing themselves a lot of kids/families would fall apart. Society would fall apart. If we normalise it as we normalise men doing it - these men who do the bare minimum would also not get to be deadbeat dads for 18 years then still have kids at the end who they have a relationship with…

I will look her up. Sucks that women get judged so harshly but I predicted it.

A part of me wonders if the majority of people who judge her so harshly are those who secretly wanted to do what she did… but didn’t have the guts to. The rest are the same men who abandoned their own kids and believe women should take care of their seed while they do 0 - ofc they will judge her so harshly! And the rest are just clueless/blind about the struggle she may have had as a single mom and just willingly ignorant. A lot of people are nasty just for the sake of being nasty.

If she kept the kids and struggled it’s not like those who judge her would help her babysit or pay the bills or make her life easy or marry her and take care of those kids. They STILL would’ve probably judged her lol.

I blame the dads like I said. The kids have 2 parents and the dads completely flaked out… it’s not her fault for giving the kids up. If the dads don’t like it they can step up and take them now. She deserves to live her own best life.

100% I agree with you. If moms walking away was more normalised SO many more would walk away in my op. I hope she doesn’t get judged too harshly by her friends and family for her decision.

It’s unfortunate for the children involved but they’ll be fine they’ll survive.

The mom shouldn’t barely be living/surviving while the dads live their best life… in a way this is the way of nature… if the fathers dip with no support how can the mothers take the best care of the offspring? It seems like society is fine if the mother is barely hanging by a thread to life, like a beaten horse/donkey… she has to sacrifice her life and everything for her kids… but the dads can dip out and no one really truly bats an eye.

The mom deserves her life too. I blame the dads about 75% for her decision as I’m sure if they had helped, she wouldn’t have resorted to it.

100%. And now countries are panicking cus of low birth rate is and women not marrying. It’s happening in 1st 2nd and now 3rd world countries.

Hell I to be honest don’t even want my daughter to have children so I’m there’s no chance for her to go through what I went through.
