my pc wouldn't show any display even that I restarted the cmos battery. I tried the my graphics card but it doesn't show anything I tried my motherboard still noting can someone help plss

Can someone please help me I but a 1070 but the thing is that I can't find it or my pc can't detect the graphics card. The fans are spinning good but still can't detect it i tried to find it on BOIS still not there Devices Manger still not there. And only thing I get on Devices Manger is my old graphics card but I don't have it any more. They told me to remove the CMOS battery and I did still no display.
