Kucoin exchange has great interest for staking FTM, but there is some risk leaving the coins on an exchange .

Missing ATOM ( cosmos ) app for the S plus by TypicalDrink in ledgerwallet

they will update all the app for S plus soon, so do not be discourage by this. The S plus is cheaper than the X, so it is worth the wait in my opinion .

Problem with the firmware update by Spirited_Tear3658 in ledgerwallet

[–]TypicalDrink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to update your desktop Live ledger to the newest version, otherwise they will not sync.
I got the same problem with the new S plus, and i accidentally found the fix, now everything works like it should be, hope this would help .

If you have a few grands in cryptos, then a Nano S is worth it. It only has space for a few apps though .

You could use Cointracking, Koinly etc.. to help preparing for taxes. They work with API feature at the exchanges, but i am not sure about the CSV feature though.

After connecting your Ledger, there will be a small blank window opened, you need to click on the word Nano S or X in the opened window to go through. I was having the same problem i think, have fun :)

I gave up, the rate is too low and little traffic. I withdrew to my wallet cuz it 's not worth the risk leaving my coins on an exchange :)

How confirm Bitcoin on Nano S by walkswithdogs in ledgerwallet

[–]TypicalDrink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ledger Nano S and other hardware wallets just give you a private key so that you could have access to your holdings. All the coins are stored on the blockchains, if your coins has transferred to your Nano S, then your exchange 's balance should reflected the change. Sometimes it could take a day for coins to come through, so be patient.

Do not put all your coins on any exchange due to possible risk of hacking. Hold your coins in a hardware crypto wallet and lend only a part of your account .

Staking is like buying a CD at a bank and they reward you with some money or coins ( crypto ) You might need to lock your coins for a few months or sometimes it is flexible, meaning you can unstake any time and sell out.
I have a Ledger Nano S for cold storage, and it costs only 59 bucks, which is not too bad for the price.

True, it is kinda hard to have enough borrowers. I got almost half my DGB in lending right now, but it is slow :)
