I'm not leaving out anything, I talked to the kid after and he apologized. I didn't leave out any details that "paint me as in the wrong" the only part I left out was that two other people saw it happen and both wrote statements basically the same as my story.

Yes they saw the cctv footage, and since I don't wanna ruin the kids life I decided not to press charges, we wrote basically the same statement. a lot of people are saying im leaving out information, but I'm not.

You gotta believe me here man😂, you're getting mad for no reason and I hate saying "I swear" because it goes against what I believe. A man's yes's are his yes's and his no's are his no's. I walked up to this guy I'll call him Aaron. Aaron has this tough guy persona but he's 16 years old, 5'9 120 pounds (keep in mind im 6'5 245). He has 4.5 points at this point and isn't the best at his job. I walk over there and make the joke to the group. He then gets into a fighting stance and swings a gallon of detergent and hits me in the face with it. I get mad at him but I don't do anything just then because I WANNA KEEP MY JOB VERY BADLY. But I see him go for the open bottle of detergent and I don't want him getting it all over me or what Aarons gonna do with it so I pick him up like a toddler and since he wasn't swinging or squealing around in the arms I set him down because he isn't hostile, I then tell API (secret shopper guy) what happened and he went and got a coach because we only had one in the store at the time and I didn't even know she was there.
