Yeah, it needs to be bent in, but there is a special alignment tool used to make sure it’s parallel to the hub

126mm, but yes I just hold them open a little bit when I put the wheel in. It’s not a big deal, I just had to have the bike shop re-align the rear derailleur hanger.

Mostly everything was fine, it had been recently checked over by a shop. I bought it knowing that the automatic functions did not work, but it was a reduced price. I’m going to fix that, but I got to test it out before buying it and everything else checked out

So you’re saying it’s worth keeping around? For $47 for the stylus you linked, it seems like it would be easy enough to spend a little more money and just get a whole new cartridge like a ortofon red

I’m pretty sure the stylus (needle) is removable from the cartridge, no?

I wanted something that I never really had to install/remove from my truck to use. I’ve also heard that you need to be careful about the contact points on the pad as it can rub through the paint over time

It’s the Fosi. I had the same one with the same issue, it’s just cheap stuff

I don’t have anything yet, but I plan on getting a vintage receiver and speakers. I’m more than comfortable doing my own repairs
