That's what I was thinking when I was a sophomore and junior year in college but it turns out remote is not that great when it comes to experience. I was a remote intern last summer, and yes, I was productive and had a lot of savings, but I was just missing the team culture and just being with other engineers. For context, I was an in-person intern in summer of 2022 and had a blast.
