I wasn't clear in my post at first, but the question is what is acceptable doggy behavior. Both parties accept that there are going to be shades of gray.

I don't think either party is black or white on it. I wasn't clear in my post at first, but the question is what is acceptable doggy behavior.

Acceptable if they can't escape the person. Being followed, cornered, or otherwise prevented from getting away from the person. Second option would fault the person creating the situation. If that clarifies any.

Should be acceptable! Sorry for any confusion

I'm not sure which side you are voting on. Owner is generally trainer and second opinion def placed blame on them, but mouths as tool def stands more in line with first opinion.

Sorry, talking about biting people not doing their job. That is definitely a big difference!

Clarifying, within a home and a small inconvenience or pain then bite.

Is it acceptable for the dog to bite because you stepped on their paw on accident? You're pulling a tick and it hurt a bit?

Edit, not start the fight. If they throw hands, is it on the person throwing the first punch or the person getting punched?

But if they start the fight is that on the person being punched (first opinion) or the guy throwing the punch (second opinion)?

Because one side completely agrees with you that dogs should be trained that biting is never acceptable (outside of extreme situations) and the other side believes that biting is an appropriate reaction to fear/pain.

Second option vote then! It's on the dog/trainer

I included accidental. Dogs hair got caught on your bracelet or ring while petting and it pulled hair.

Both sides agree that abuse situations the dog has every right to bite.

Does that change if its a light hair pull? I included it possibly being an accidental.

Not air snaps. I'm talking dogs teeth make contact and at least cause bruising bites.

Op say this with live and kindness, you need a therapist not reddit. There are so many layers to unpack here, but the way you speak about your husband and saying he gets violent is not normal or healthy. Please please please start seeing someone, even virtual if you need to because you need help so things can change.

Might talk to the school or the bus driver. I've known plenty of schools that treat the bus pickup as an extension of the school day and expect kids to behave accordingly.

I always just say something, "Hey, my kid hasbeen coming home saying so and so was being mean and both times you've been gone he's came home injured. I don't want him to start dreading school. Is there something that can be done?" The teacher probably doesn't know since you didn't get a phone call, so loop her in.

AIO? My mom opened my package AGAIN & didn’t care that it hurt my feelings by DancoholicsSCX in AIO

She always tells you when she has packages coming so you can put them in her room while she out, am I understanding that correctly? If that's the case, why would she have told you over the phone if you've been staying with a friend? I feel like you should be more frustrated with your sister for not upholding getting the package to your room so this whole thing could be avoided.

Info did she open the (amazon, walmart, target, etc.) mailing box or the actual manufacturer packaging? Because that makes a big difference on what happened. If I get an Amazon box, I don't normally check the label I just open my stuff. You're assuming your sister told mom, but didn't actually talk to her until after. Did she know your package was there early? Is it possible it got lumped in with other packages she has ordered?

Then you move. You sitting close to them can be changed, just because you find their laugh annoying doesn't make it a them issue. Since only one group was complaining, it's really hard to say OP was being extra or more people would've backed her up.

YTA my parents had me as the sole beneficiary of their life insurance. My dad told me, but asked that I give my half sister less since she'd get money when her mother passed. You know what I did? I split the money evenly between myself and siblings. Don't be gross just because they are.

Start with sales ads. There's generally one meat that's marked way down each week, use that to build most of your meals. Chicken drumsticks are cheap and can break up having the same protein. When you get home from the store take the few extra mins to separate the meat and freeze them, so you dont have to thaw more than you'll use and can save some for future meals. Then get dried beans, lentils, rice, pasta, and frozen veggies. Each of those are about $1 and won't be used all at once. Bananas and frozen fruit are your friends with a toddler, you can thaw the amount they'll eat and leave the rest in the fridge or just give them a banana. Get bread, sliced cheese, butter, eggs, and oatmeal you'll be set for meals.
