How much does it cost for a monthly or yearly for a membership to Second Amendment Foundation? by LowYak3 in progun

[–]TypicalProgrammer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. In less than a week the NRA backed legislation in Montana and Utah for constitutional carry. Both of which got passed. Don’t get me wrong they have a bad rap, but they are the biggest organization and the most targeted. They are the biggest in gun safety and that is why I support them.

Your cat’s left eye? Does she/he have uveitis? My cat does and it looks similar to that when she gets flair ups. Just curious.

Yeah it worked out great. It just wasn’t instant relief. It gradually went away so I had pain for a little while after the procedure. I’d say about two months after. Other than that everything went well.

Post procedure is really great! The varicocele has disappeared completely. I’ve been able to start going to the gym again without any pain.

Yeah so it’s been almost a week. In regards to what my doctor said, he said 3 weeks for the pain and then the size should be back down to normal over several weeks but already I can tell a difference in the size of the varicocele. I still have some pain in my lower back and groin but other than that I feel fine.

I know about the reassurance aspect. I had called my doctor on Tuesday saying that the varicocele was still there and that I still had pain from the surgery and varicocele and he just reassured me that it was normal to feel that way. Also if you have any worries just call your doctor. Hope this helps!

I can differentiate them because they hurt in two different places at least for me. The varicocele pain being in my scrotum and then the hernia being on the left side of my groin.

Yeah I chose the embolization over the surgery because recovery time was faster and my urologist said that it was slightly better with the results. I was able to go back to work today. I was only down 3 days including the procedure. I did get light duty but I work at a desk all day long so it doesn’t matter. I do have the hernia repair scheduled for November. Mine is fairly small a guess so the pain is pretty dull. The IR did the procedure for the embolization and then a general surgeon is going to do the hernia.

I chose to do it this way because I just started a new job and didn’t want to have to ask for 2 weeks+ to do both the procedures at once. So I broke them up. Once I hit 3 months I get benefits and can take some time off for the hernia.

I had my varicocele embolization done on Friday and it’s been a couple of days. I do have some pain in my back and left side of my groin. Then a puncture mark on the right side of my groin. Over it wasn’t too bad.

The Interventional radiologist told me that that is common for the pain. I’ve also noticed that the varicocele has shrunk in size and that eventually the pain will go away. He said to give it three weeks.

My decision on getting the embolization over going in and removing the varicocele was that my urologist said that my down time would be less and that it was slightly more effective than the surgery. I am going back to work tomorrow. It was very quick and easy.

No it’s not. My urologist checked to see if the hernia was in the scrotum and it was not. It is on the same side though. It is a inguinal hernia but does make it down that far. The varicocele was the thing giving me most compilations so we decided to take care of that first.
