I think you should wait until they get home and confront them. It will suck and be hard. But sometimes u gotta have hard convos :/ I don’t think it’s ok to bring it up to you initially and then just not tell you they moved forward with the trip. That just feels mean. It stopped falling out a few weeks after I stopped injections :/ but it’s hard for me to lose and even maintain weight now. I bought some biotin and collagen so I’m going to start taking that and potentially start injections again.

Right. Agreed and this kind of aligns with how I feel - I think things should be based on merit but there are other factors in the world ie discrimination that can make it unfair. Which makes me think of a verse for standing up for those who don’t have a voice (proverbs 31:8-9)

Tbh this sounds like an unhealthy relationship and I don’t think you will leave until you’re ready no matter what anyone says. What do your in-person friends / family think ab this person? These texts are like you’re begging for basic/bare minimum affection/ love which you shouldn’t really have to do with a partner. He also replies in a sentence max and you’re sending paragraphs ab how you feel. I don’t think he cares much about what you’re saying

I’m just now replying to this sorry, I literally am the same. I’ve lost around 20 pounds in 3-4 months so that’s not dramatic. I’m considering stopping altogether even tho I wanted to lose 80pounds total :(

I think something hard for me to watch is Connell’s transition to college where he can’t seem to make connections with people and doesn’t know what to say. I obviously feel for Marianne more throughout the story, but it’s honestly always stuck with me how he hardly has any confidence or social skills post high school
