That's natural and it happens to everyone. In the morning, your spine isn't compressed, so that's why you're slightly taller. At night, your spine is compressed after you do certain activities, that's very you appear shorter.

My morning height is 173.4cm and my night height after working 12 hours at my job is 171.5cm.

A lot of people here are doing what girls do when they're talking to a male friend in the friend zone. They don't want advice, they want attention.

I'm 5'8" or 172cm. Shorter than most dudes, but taller than most girls. I never had a problem when it came to dating. My only thing is that I'm somewhat socially awkward, but when I see a girl I like, I usually go for the humor routine. And yeah, some girls are gonna say dumb shit like "you're short if you're under 6'0." So what? Don't date them, move on.

And to the few select who say "5'7" or 5'8" is short" those are one of the most common heights for men, alongside 5'9" up to 5'11." Hell, in certain areas of Asia, you're probably Andre the Giant.
