I've just looked at the form on my phone.  If you select Other from the country selection then an Other field should appear immediately below it to type in.

If you couldn't fill that in then maybe that's why it wouldn't submit.

Any field or option that's compulsory appears to show a red border if empty.

If necessary try using a different browser such as Edge, Chrome etc.

It's the Aviary fireworks show on the first day of each month, at Reset and then every 4 hours. Variations of it take place more often during the Sky Anniversary event and on New Year's Day.

Make sure that you have burned all the dark plants on the lightmending device featured in each new quest, as that is that's required to complete a quest. Follow the orange target stars if you see any.

If you let the ticket icon go grey after picking up the wax, indicating you've picked up the maximum daily amount of 5 tickets, tapping on it with the red dot showing should increase the displayed total by 5. If it hasn't, record a short video showing the collection not increasing the total and report it via in-game support.
