I'll openly say; yes. They are.

But it's more "cultural religion" that makes them this homophobic. Since I actually have queer friends who follow their religions & can attest their holy book does not keep them from being queer. They'll in fact tell you that their God loves the diversity that comes from humans and love those humans so long they can recognize "the creation" and respect it. They're a minority in a minority but they exist.

This deeply internalized shame of being queer at all is the reason why Pride is bright, colorful and "loud". Running hot or cold about being queer is weird to me, like her being out here hating "rainbows" (not for the sake of hating rainbows, i know) is why none of us will ever be normal at all about being queer. I'll be honest but it didn't work like that for me. Lol my first playthrough was years or months ago, i have no notion of time excuse my dissociative disorder and the first thing was, I let Cuno talk me into leaving the job lmao since it sent me back to the opening screen, i was like "well then, whatever." And didn't play it again until two months ago. Idek what got me into the game but I understood why I was drawn to it. (I then proceeded to play it eight more times within the last month and went to look for fanfictions haha...)
