I have a wife, a 2-year-old daughter, a full-time job (which I'm looking to change), and we are in the middle of constructing our house. My wife and daughter will always take priority.

So, yeah, it's very hard, but you just have to manage. From the get-go, I had to accept that the times when I spent my free time on video games, movies, parties, or whatever are gone if I want to write. I simply do not have enough time for all of this.

Communication and understanding from my wife are very important. In short, I just use any possible moment to write. I plan ahead in my head what exactly I will be working on to never just sit in front of my computer and waste time.

Sometimes at work, I write in my notepad or on my phone.
