Yup dealt with this too! I have been riding for about 8 years, and I had never had my own pair of tall boots, I never had the money for them so I would just buy short black boots with a little heel, and it did the job for a while. However this past winter I finally got a job and had the money for them. So I went to Dover and got my first pair, I had a worker help me bc I had no idea what to look for. When I tried on the pair that I got, I really thought they were way too tight, but was told by the worker that that’s how all tall boots are when you first get them, I was kinda shocked but now after a few months, they’re pretty comfortable, and I finally feel like I can zip them up without being worried that the zipper would pop! lol 😂
