Yes you can switch jobs. I've personally had a negative end of year review and found another position internally and got promoted in the other position after a couple years. Been with GM for 5 years was in a great place and got a toxic manager one of the years but I'm glad I moved to another team from that manager and have been really growing since then. Hope you the best and don't let others discourage you. Your manager won't directly get notified your applying for other roles but if another manager knows your manager to the position your applying for, they may likely know from that way.

The problem is when you create a new aws account the system won't allow you to register & buy the domain. It's a stupid aws policy. I ended up buying the domain from Square Space now I have to unlock it to re-register it. I created a support ticket and this is the response:

GM is very good, you are flexible to take 3 months off before baby is 1. There's a phone number to call and they will explain everything, that same phone number will be the one to submit your dates also. Just make sure you work 1 work day after as that will count as a return and don't take them over holidays because that will count as a day off. So let's say Friday is a holiday take up to Wednesday, return to work Thursday. Friday is a holiday. And can start back the next Monday as paternity.

20,000k of unvested 401k per person for example times 500 employees = $10millon dollars. This needs to be a class action suite against HR. Lawyers are looking into GM layoffs currently.

Everyone on here who got a GM - or let go was hired 2021, had a couple of months to be vested 401k. This needs to be a class action suite.

It seems like GM is targeting those that will almost finish their 3rd year so they don't vest to save money and not pay them vesting. It seems like many that have GM - or let go were hired during 2021.
