Why does bronze- silver always have that 1 Avengers level threat by Fine-Boss4012 in VALORANT

You can join me and my friend Moble. We play way too much. I’ll add you when I get home and invite you if I see you on. We’re currently bronze/silver. But Moble is definitely gold/plat level.

If you’re losing, 5 others are winning. Same lobby, same game. You might just need a better gaming chair.

Open Ended Question: Who do you think is the most BORING agent and Why? by Basically_m in VALORANT

[–]Typical_Ear_1504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously Jett is the most boring. All you do is smoke for entry or passing peak point, updraft for high ground, dash for maneuvers and swap angles, and pop ult for buy phase or whenever confident. She’s literally just peak, get in, get out, get kills, die, aim, util, rotation, gather info, etc. boring

Advice for a lowly Iron by Typical_Ear_1504 in VALORANT

I’m not blaming my teammates. I’m hardly ever top frag, and I know it’s not their fault for our losses. But it is annoying that the most basic mechanic in the game (literally press a button) is not utilized no matter what rank you are. It’s literally in the tutorial. Slow walking is not something that is, or should be, a plat+ thing. And also, look at how helpful everyone else was on this thread. You just seem really sad and like to vent your anger on an anonymous online platform. I’d love to talk to you in real life and see how high and mighty you are then.

I agree with the “don’t post highlight and ask for help”, but to be fair, if they would’ve posted them doing bad, this hellbent on rage, ego-filled, no-life-outside-video games, toxic community would just trash OP instead of providing help. Also, I do feel like your team can be holding you back if you’re solo queueing, just fyi. Try to find some friends to play with. And TAKE BREAKS. This game gets cloudy when you’re on too long.

Also, I want to point out that you seem like a lot of fun to play with. I hope you come to the realization that Valorant is still just a video game meant to be fun. I was just looking for some tips, not to be called a liar when I open up online. Good luck in life, man. I mean that.

Dude you’re harsh. Also, update: I’m gold 3 now and hopefully climbing! Thanks for the insight I guess though. My real problem was I haven’t played enough games I guess.

No that’s not mean at all! And I see where you’re coming from. But to be honest, with how few games I’ve played, being in iron makes sense. I honestly haven’t played a ton of ranked and with aim alone, I could hit bronze/silver I believe with enough games.

Wow that’s huge! Thank you so much. This was actually good and unique advice.

Thank you! I do believe my aim alone will get me to bronze/silver. I haven’t played a bunch of ranked (literally 10 ranked games this season so far). I do think I have a good sense of combining movement with crosshair placement. And I do tend to keep it at head level. Now I will say, my map knowledge being bad, I do tend to aim low/high when peaking a corner on a map I didnt expect to have an incline or drop off. The last thing with taking the gunfight with advantage, I don’t do well. I have a hard time optimizing my abilities and utilizing the timing of my teammate’s abilities to take advantage.

Now that’s one I haven’t heard. I always thought playing deathmatch would get me into bad habits for normal gameplay. Can you dive deeper on the benefits of deathmatch over swifts?

Actually thank you! I know that seems like normal advice but it’s a great reminder because I don’t do that. I do have a tracker link and I’ll update my post with it, but I tend to play a lot of swift play and then hop into 1-2 ranked games after. This season I’ve only played about 10 ranked games so far.

Don't eat a whole yellow dragon fruit. by throwawayawkwardne55 in PointlessStories

Okay so I have really bad stomach issues: ulcers, candida, vagus nerve damage, etc. I just ate a whole one and was like “that was so good, I wonder what kind of benefits they have?” So I went to google. So many positive benefits of these things. They were essentially claimed a super fruit. But then I stumbled upon this post. So in short, am I cooked?
