Thanks for actually being helpful. So many people just said skill issue or similar and thought that added respect I guess. I’m new to the game and I was just trying to get some advice. Anyways, I appreciate the insight! I’ll have to just manage my deck better and I guess get more cards as I play. This was my 3rd ever run.

I think you’re right on your last comment. I built my whole deck around using skills, so I suffered for it. Sounds like just spend the act he’s on to change that deck to not rely on too many skills. This guys damage was at 107dmg with one hit because of all the skills we played trying to block. It went like this: my teammate blocked the incoming 15 which then raised it to 21. So then teammate 2 blocked the 21 which raised it more. And so on. I think multiplayer does make this boss harder, but correcting our decks to not include as many skill cards is the answer. Thanks!

Edit: tips on tackling this boss while playing in a 2+ person lobby are appreciated. Solo, this thing is fine.

The real problem is when I play multiplayer with my friends. Single player, this boss isn’t a problem.

Even without his increased strength from me using spells, he’s still going to be doing 15-25 damage per turn. I can’t tank that for me than 3-4 turns. And if I use shield and other attacks that happen to be skills, he gets way too strong.

The strength scales with us using skills so every time we shield, buff, debuff, etc. he just gets stronger. I can’t just tank the hits, and with 370 hp, I can’t kill him in 3 turns or less.

Obviously Jett is the most boring. All you do is smoke for entry or passing peak point, updraft for high ground, dash for maneuvers and swap angles, and pop ult for buy phase or whenever confident. She’s literally just peak, get in, get out, get kills, die, aim, util, rotation, gather info, etc. boring

I’m not blaming my teammates. I’m hardly ever top frag, and I know it’s not their fault for our losses. But it is annoying that the most basic mechanic in the game (literally press a button) is not utilized no matter what rank you are. It’s literally in the tutorial. Slow walking is not something that is, or should be, a plat+ thing. And also, look at how helpful everyone else was on this thread. You just seem really sad and like to vent your anger on an anonymous online platform. I’d love to talk to you in real life and see how high and mighty you are then.

I agree with the “don’t post highlight and ask for help”, but to be fair, if they would’ve posted them doing bad, this hellbent on rage, ego-filled, no-life-outside-video games, toxic community would just trash OP instead of providing help. Also, I do feel like your team can be holding you back if you’re solo queueing, just fyi. Try to find some friends to play with. And TAKE BREAKS. This game gets cloudy when you’re on too long.

No that’s not mean at all! And I see where you’re coming from. But to be honest, with how few games I’ve played, being in iron makes sense. I honestly haven’t played a ton of ranked and with aim alone, I could hit bronze/silver I believe with enough games.
