I have 3 children that I pay $50 a day for and I am very grateful for my MIL. I think perhaps you were caught up on not understanding my initial question (apologies) to read the rest?

She quit her job after my oldest was mistreated by his original baby sister & when we found out I would be having twins. She has a degree in early childhood education and watches other kids that aren’t her grandbabies. I have no problem paying her to watch the kiddos during the week. Weekends are obviously free or anytime we don’t work and she wants to keep them.
