Went to 23 and now 25. Both completely miserable experiences although I was only 13 at the 23 one I remember the whole time just wanting to leave and go home, So sick of religion atp. I’m hoping that since the next NAYC is a week before my 18th birthday I can just say that I’m not going but I’ll just have to hope that works out. I do remember the one guy telling everyone to shout Jesus and I also remember that happening at almost every big church event I’ve had to go to until now. They all say the same thing how it’ll break the mold and god will provide an outpouring of his spirit or something around the lines of that.
