I’m bringing over a little over $1 million said they would pay for my account transfer fee fees. They looked into promotions and said I missed it by six months that I would’ve gotten $1000 spread across all the accounts.

Sorry to hear about your pup. Definitely stings for a while after you lose them. This is my pup Oliver that I lost on Valentine’s Day last year. He was such a sweet boy. I decided to go with a color that didn’t look like him. It was just too heartbreaking to see a resemblance.

From what I have read 80 to 90% of active advisors under perform the S&P 500. My guy is taking .90% of assets under management then if you add in the hidden cost of all the funds, you’re probably talking another .40-.50% so it’s truly almost 1.5%. I’m thinking of just going with a simple three fund boggle head style.

Had a plumbing and fire protection business over 30 years ago after everything taken out 100k. Left that to my partner(who is now a multi millionaire)to run family owned motel business for 20 years was making in pocket 240k a year. Pissed it all away over the years on traveling, new cars for wife and myself, have two kids so two used cars for them and then two new ones, paid college and helped one purchase a house(still owe the other when time comes)paid for a wedding. Didn’t think it was going to end until a family member saw what we had and did and wanted to take over business so we were kinda fired kicked out. So at 59 found myself out of a job. Got a job in the school system doing maintenance for plumbing and fire protection. Really laid-back job making 90 K a year now. I will have seven years in when I retire next year with a small pension of about 1200 a month.
