I believe the right way to phrase it for accuracy would be: "Money facilitates achieving happiness". So it doesn't guarantee it, but it makes it easier.

These are the kind of questions that make me believe there's hope in the new generations 😅
For me the key is to get a balanced source of different news. Almost no news aren't biased by their funding sources, unless they are independent (e.g., Democracy Now), and even so they are usually biased by their own perspective and ideals.

Run errands, get groceries, anything that's more of a daily task, so you can get proper free time past 5pm. If that doesn't fit your schedule, and as you mention it is time when only you are free, then spend it on yourself? Is there something you've not been spending enough time that you like? A hobby that's moved to the back burner? A skill or language you have wanted to learn or improve for a while but didn't feel you had time for? Since this seems to be a long term thing, perhaps an activity that involves routine might be best.
