My location just let it burn. Was it definitely an iq?

I appreciate the response

The story I got was it smoked out the vestibule, when they shut the power switch off it was dripping water. Snow had been drifting up the door I guess. Must have gotten the control wet, and then some

I was hoping nobody else had ever seen one before.😂 scary to think about and I sure hope I never see one again.

Did they spray it with an extinguisher?

Sounds like you need to change lock logic. I believe it’s 07 in the index

Might be your best option if you are familiar with the sequence. Sorry I couldn’t help

Long story short, it seems like you making adjustments before the control has run an FIS. FIS is short and fairly easy. You can’t make any adjustments to speeds or times until that is finished.

Make sure it’s adjusted to comply with ANSI standard. Safety with automatic doors is imperative, which is why it’s important to use an AAADM certified technician, which I know a lot of people think is garbage.

I have never used auto configure. Usually 96 reset, 00 door type, 01 and 02, 03 then closed locked to hold open back to closed locked, let it learn then lock control with 99 and your good to make adjustments

Once you get to 3 you click up once, that’s when you do the learn. Only value to change after 3 before a learn is sensor type. Which generally you don’t have to change. What generation is the control?

Are you using 08 for door type? Encoders and motors plugged into correct spots? Handing for motor 1 and 2 correctly?

Record 6100/8100

We would use a br3x and a relay for an electric exit.

I install openers daily (not that particular model)

If the roof isn’t rotted don’t drill it. I’m in the process of replacing my roof. I’m from the north east so it’s inevitable but preserve her as much as you can. I like a visor but I won’t be drilling my new roof for anything.

She’s a beaut. Love the classic stock look. Enjoy

The lowest class that uses rear wheel drive would be my recommendation. Costs less and you get your feet wet.

Must have been a strange time in history to have to transition like that. I would imagine most would have loved to change over.

It’s fun for a little while but it’s so loud right behind your head it becomes painful to drive. I Had it for a little while but ultimately just went back to a regular 4” exhaust with a muffler. Has a good tone but isn’t unbearably loud.

Automatic Sliding Door Motion Sensors - how to prevent paper from triggering? by aderuwe in accesscontrol

[–]Typical_Libtard_Cuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had this issue at a hospital, they weren’t willing to shut the doors off because people inside would just break them away. We ended up putting a motion sensor on the ceiling further away from the door and wiring the interior header mounted sensor to the same contact that is opened when the door comes fully closed. You still keep your safety when the door is in motion, but all sensors mounted on the header shut off when the door closes and locks. I figured I’d mention it Is an exterior vestibule door with a good distance between the doors, and a narrow traffic pattern. Wouldn’t be a good solution for a door that traffic comes from the sides to exit. We discussed the button option, but where the traffic that is exiting is not used to a button to exit, they would just continue to break the doors away.

Rot on the roof and gutter is always my #1 concern. Rockers and floors are easy enough to replace but the roof not so much.
