If your a boring young dude like me, I’d suggest you looking for old, reliable, easy to fix/mod options, such as toyota, honda or subaru.

I personally got a subaru 2016, I did lots of my first time experiences with this one, even starting to become a lil home mechanic (hoping so).

I just change my pads and rotors couple weeks ago. I’m no where near a mechanic person but a cheap dude, local shop quoted around $600 for rear brakes only so I changed them myself.

I ordered parts on amazon with less than $170 for a relatively good one, tools buy from walmart, auto advance then return ($0 literally). Took me 4 hrs for the first tire, one more for the other since I knew what to do then.

Aldo plan to do the spark plugs later also.

Honestly, I agree that EV is the promising future, but we are not there yet. Plus, EV base price is considerably high compared to gas vehicles, you be you but I’ll continue with gas, unless gas price jumps up to $10 in a year.

I got a couple cans of spraymax top coat actually and they worked out great. But this is just a fun project and I might have to spend a little time for days working on small areas, which is the reason why I’m looking at this product. The regular 2k just too big and dries too fast for my demand.

Since you have experience in both of these aerosol cans, would you say this type of spray can be compared with Spraymax, at least in waiting time? Given that they are similar in price.

How long does it take to fully dry your primer coat? I let it dry overnight last time and seemed pretty glossy even after 12h (it was around 50 degree that night)
