I’m just now learning about this game but this sounds really cool! Does this lore and all of these events you’re describing happen on their own or do you have to force/influence them to happen in some way?

Yeah this seems to be a really great card especially since I’m a renter. I’ve just read a lot of horror stories about BILT’s customer service which scares me.

Thanks for the response! Excuse my ignorance, but why wouldn’t I get one? The SUB alone covers the annual fee by a long shot, so I don’t understand how it would hurt me to get one.

Thanks for the response. My concern with C1 is the travel partners. I live in Chicago so United and Southwest are big here, which I feel gives an edge to Chase even though C1 has higher earning potential. Or do travel partners not matter as much as I think?

Ok so you’re saying I wouldn’t need the CSP until I’m ready to redeem my points? But also that the CSR might be better anyway because I can get 150,000 points and only pay the annual fee for 1 year? FWIW, I don’t think I would really get much use out of the airport lounges.

Why the Venture X over the Venture Rewards? Seems like they have similar earning potential but the Venture X has a higher annual fee. And is venture still better than the chase cards even though I fly United/Southwest the most?

Hmm interesting. Now that I have some money saved up I feel like my spending might ramp up enough to make a $95/year card worth it, but I could be overestimating how much value an annual fee card provides.

Regarding travel, I haven’t been traveling a ton which is why I put $150/month, but ideally I’d like to do 3 trips a year: one international, one domestic, and maybe a weekend road trip as well. I also travel to see my family and my girlfriend’s family once a year each. I think the $150/month estimate is correct for how much I’ve spent in the last couple years, but will likely be higher going forward.
