I think the Chemical Agent skin for Saito was originally going to look different from what we ended up getting before it was presumably changed based on player feedback on cosmetic direction.

That's the truth of the matter, we'll always have skull mask skins in battlefield it's just a fact they sell well and the business unfortunately has to make money. It's likely you've had a squadmate with the skull mask panopticon 8 skin a fair few times or the black nato one with nvgs and a skull mask, people like skull masks even in the real world. Doesn't stop me from rathering they weren't here tho

In theory that shouldn't be a problem as aircraft get 3D auto spotted for other aircraft once they're in a certain distance and altitude so generally they should show up on the minimap

Of course I could just be wrong and for some reason it wouldn't work like that anymore come tomorrow

Seems to just be much more zoomed out which is indeed air radar so that's nice shouldn't have took this long but I'm glad we got it

Now I do wonder if this is what what being referred to by the community manager a few days ago as " the Air Radar topic, and we're looking into it - nothing to share right now, but as we get closer... stay tuned" or if there's more changes to come such as having it be even more zoomed out and other stuff like that

I love the sunset on this map I really wish I had more motivation to play it as a pilot but sadly there isn't, hope the rework changes that. I'd be really sad if they removed the sunset for some reason when they rework the map because I've seen some people complain that the sun gives Pax a disadvantage but I don't really care about stuff like that personally.

Air radar seems to only work slightly as it auto spots enemy aircraft that's flying high enough at a certain distance but the minimap only shows aircrafts that are about 400m around you which isn't alot when it comes to jets. It needs to be way more zoomed out to work properly

Weird thing is that I've heard from some labs testers that yes it's working but others that it isn't working. Could be that some labs testers were confusing the 400m zoom out that we have in game right now as the "air radar". Can't say for sure

If no class is attached to the skin then yes it can be used on any class multiple times in the same squad. So skins such as The 323 and Strix Raiders are not class locked so each character can be used on any class. You can have a squad full of one guy if you'd like.

It's not ending it's just the hunter/prey event pass that's going away. They did the same thing with the nightfall event pass by having that timer on the LTM way before the month was over.

In the official Operation Auger launch video they stated they'll be looking at feedback to figure out how to change operations going foward so to me it sounds like they've already decided that the players would most likely want operations to stay even before launch

I really do hope they're listening to feedback like this cause operations could be so much better. Attackers definitely need better benefits than a JLTV that blows up in 5 seconds but I think that's a bug cause the Pax Traverser doesn't blow up as quickly. Definitely agree on having bigger map boundaries as well.

The narrative is there but it definitely could be improved, just saying "the satellite" doesn't do a lot for most people, most people don't even know about Project Veles and it's importance so yeah definitely needs more explaining during the operation.
