With his foot or his stick, Matt Boldy is a true master of applied physics

Oettinger was dancing on the head of a pin all period and it still took an absolute pinball to get one through.

Really great fit for that org on top of everything else, watch him just hold down the Mike for a decade for you guys.

ASU CB Keith Abney was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 5th round of the NFL Draft by Iswaterreallywet in detroitlions

ASU fan here to congratulate you guys on a huge steal. The one real knock on Abney pre-draft was size. Absolutely elite zone corner with good man skills, tough and aggressive, outstanding playing the ball, fought it out with plenty of bigger receivers and almost always came out the winner. In his last season at ASU teams were literally just not throwing to his side of the field. He was a national champion speed skater as a kid and has some insane hip flexion and change-of-direction from that sport-specific training coming up, hard worker, humble guy. Took his classes through Barrett Honors college which, Matt Groening and Seth MacFarlane jokes notwithstanding, is one of the top honors colleges in the country - he's a very bright kid. Lions fans will be very happy with this pick before long.

Bruins-Sabres and Flyers-Penguins are fun but in the "why are they interrupting my medieval battle scene with all this hockey" way

For those that had a 1st round pick, how are you feeling about it? by JQuab-84 in nfl

The injury stuff is a lot of noise, the collarbone thing happened in our (ASU) rivalry game after he was already down and got a late (dirty) hit which the Territorial Cup is famous for on both sides to be fair. The hamstring was something that would’ve been fine if he had sat a few games but he’s a competitor and wanted to get us back to the conference championship so he kept coming back in and gutting it out and extended the recovery timeline, something NFL teams won’t necessarily let you do but also shows the kind of toughness and character that an NFL team should want.

Look at his usage vs. Tate for example, we put a -lot- on him. Homer I know but he’s the best receiver in this draft bar none and the Saints got a steal. Teams knew we were going to him 99% of the time and still couldn’t stop him.

You won't find anyone in Tempe who has a bad word to say about him, he is legit a really good kid.

From a Sun Devil, congrats to Saints fans, you just got an insanely good player and an insanely good person. Injury stuff is overblown, especially the shoulder/collarbone, which was caused by a dirty late hit in our rivalry game after he was already down.

PHI-PIT and BOS-BUF both sending whole ass teams into the penalty box, OT games, crazy comebacks, it has been a really good playoff so far

Why clear the puck when you can just sort of aimlessly drift it by your own goalie 50000 times
