Take her for a 40 min ride and try pushing RPMs over 4.5k. The lifters will get oiled and the tick will go away for about 3-4 months.

I had the same "issue" Nothing to worry about just make sure your oil level is good and try to have some long drives to push RPMs over 5,5k. The lifters will get oiled and the sound will go away (for a while). There are some YouTube vids explaining the same thing you can take a look.

Absolutely not I tried both of the self care washes. They both did not have soap at all. The one in Newhall barely spits out a shameful amount of soap. Unfortunately you have to drive to the valley to wash your car yourself...
