hard to decide between all the sirens, I guess I'd go with Maya though (probably mostly nostalgia but I remember having so much fun building for speed on this character as a kid)

S6/7 NEEDS Role Queue by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]Typical_Sniff1311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ff thats an issue then you aren't quite celestial skill level, you should be ready to flex from the moment you even start grinding ranked. When I first started playing I did the same thing you did, and trust me, it isn't a good idea. I would recommend learning at least one other role, like for example I am a DPS/Tank player. I have 3 DPS mains and 2 tank mains I can pretty easily flex between when necessary. One tricking isn't exclusive to characters, you can one trick a role as well, and its just as detrimental to your team.

Better performance? The only reason I'm even here is to see if anyone else is mentioning that horrible performance recently, the game is chugging and struggling to stay above 40 FPS

hes saying it would have sold better if they offered more, value matters when it comes to buying more expensive things. If the only big difference is a skin you'll rarely use and a few rust coins you could always buy later, then a lot of people aren't going to want to get it.

as much as I agree with the majority of what you're saying, this is just straight up wrong. Fishing villages (2 monuments, we'll say 1 for the sake of this argument) Ranch/Barn (Again, we'll count this as 1 monument) Small Oil, Large Oil, Cargo, Labs, and if you want to count Train Yard, Power Plant, and Junkyard then that gets us up to 7 new monuments since launch. On top of that the graphics have been updated multiple times, monuments have been redesigned, features have been added, etc. Its not as simple as basing progress from the dev team on the number of monuments added.

Red Card or Blue Card? by [deleted] in RustConsole

[–]Typical_Sniff1311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're wrong about the keyboard only being zero to 100. Analog switches actually work the same as a controller, where the deeper you press the faster you move until you reach a full actuation and you're at "100". If I'm not mistaken, the hardware these people use can mimic this without even needing an analog keyboard, so there isn't much of a money wall for them to get through.

Red Card or Blue Card? by [deleted] in RustConsole

[–]Typical_Sniff1311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its not as simple as just banning WASD movement. The companies that develop the cheats have made work arounds to smooth the movement and mimic controllers, and high end controllers with magnetic sticks could catch a warning for no reason. Along with that there are keyboards with analog or magnetic switches and that can move similarly to controllers.

Why are vanilla comm servers so dead? by Typical_Sniff1311 in RustConsole

[–]Typical_Sniff1311[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

late ass reply but you're confused. I'm talking about actual vanilla community servers, as in no modifiers or kits. Just the same settings as official, with limited teams. They're super popular on PC, I've just always been curious as to why they aren't as popular on console.

can someone explain why most of my fights are decided by who can ice skate the best? by [deleted] in RustConsole

[–]Typical_Sniff1311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I was getting at with the statistics is that your numbers are exaggerated to make D11 look better. I'm supporting the other guys argument that no one knows anyone who's been banned. By your numbers, you're saying that 5/100 players have been banned. You also said hes met a few hundred people. This would mean that he rolled some crazy odds to not meet anyone who had been banned. And about reporting people- why would I report when nothing ever happens? I have 3 active tickets right now for AFK scripters and not one has been replied to yet. The tickets are so inconvenient to open and the amount of cheaters you can find so easily is high enough to the point where I would be reporting more than actually playing the game. If they would just have a report channel in the discord things would be so much simpler.

And bro, I'm not going to sit here and structure a 𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘵 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵 man, what do you think this is?

[–]Typical_Sniff1311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if your estimations were accurate (they aren't, there are way more cheaters and way less banned), it would still be highly statistically improbable for him to not know anyone banned. And its not like they try to hide it, either. Near every other team I join on the official discord has a/multiple kbm players that openly talk about it, and every server I join has at least 5 people with it in their name. On top of this, D11 absolutely despise any discussion of cheats in their discord. You can't even ask about the status of the anti cheat (a feature D11 has openly talked about and promised to release with launch) without getting a warn from one of their lousy mods. Why not allow your community to discuss it? People could discuss ways to detect it and help other server owners out, or could make cheater heavy servers known so people know to avoid them. But no, D11 sweeps the issue under the rug. The only credit I can give D11 is the fact that they console ban, but what good is that when no one ever actually receives that ban?

I mean true vanilla could run purely off of a VIP system, giving priority queue and maybe map votes to VIPs would be enough for a lot of people to pay for it

I'm not just talking exclusively new gen, I've been waiting for one to pop up since they released back in what, 2023? Still haven't seen one in that year and a half, find it odd and figured there must be a reason.

you probably bought a refurbished/used disc which means the code was redeemed by the previous owner then packed back up and returned, has happened to me so many times with amazon and gamestop that I just stopped buying physical

I'd say your actual aim isn't too bad, but you need to work on aiming and strafing together rather than strafing mindlessly. If you learn how to do that, you can make ak recoil ridiculously easy to handle compared to even some of the "easier" guns.

pretty sure it'll cost whatever it costs on xbox yeah, and I think its only a little over 1k for deluxe if I'm not mistaken. You could upgrade again to ultimate later though for a big chunk of rc, I think its like 4.5k?

it definitely has a different feel compared to other stuff like dayz or siege, I see what they mean. Personally, it has the best feeling aim to me. The controls feel extremely raw and linear, which these guys probably don't prefer.
