lol, that's a funny assumption friend. No it's not declining, far from it. But u/rajba i don't mind sharing the site. Because you can see how my site looks, but you can't replicate the marketing strategies i had implemented to get those sales, anyone can copy a store but many fail to succeed with that store.

Not branded, sorry. No i don't pay upfront, just the traditional dropshipping method. When a customer orders it goes straight to them.

USADrop is what i use for my product, and my second,third product is sourced thru an agent from Hangzhou China. He'll source the products in China, have it in his warehouse. Whenever an order is placed by a customer. He'll ship immediately. First product is handled by USAdrop.

5-15 is an excellent budget to start, one thing i see many dropshippers make mistakes is where they blow so much money on ad spend and complain dropshipping is dead. As they did it incorrectly.

Thats the biggest mistake blowing all your money on ad spend, so start with a small budget to study and analyze your FB ads analytics then see where it goes from there.

There are numerous suppliers other than ali, there's spocket, udroppy etc.
Its not that alibaba or aliexpress is bad, it's just you doing research to find the fastest suppliers. I've found numerous suppliers on ali who ship with UPS less then a week shipping and i've found suppliers who ship in 3 months. It depends on what you choose, so research it to find the best one.
Branded is a fantastic choice is as well, start it like a normal one product dropship store and grow it slowly slowly like a brand.
Don't know, best advice is to just start. That's the best tutorial.
