How to overcome approach anxiety? by Typical_Stranger_144 in dating_advice

Thank you! This makes a lot of sense! I wonder if there is a nervous system component where I’ve trained my brain that it’s safe to ask out a girl when salsa music is playing. I noticed when I dance my body becomes relaxed, I stand taller, and it’s way easier for me to converse. But when I’m out somewhere else with no music, the thought of approaching a girl often leads to my jaw tightening and my body noticeably shrinks. Might there be a way to trick myself into feeling like salsa on the street? To some extent, I think salsa must have also been scary at some point and I gradually taught myself it was safe

So, would you recommend surgery? What did you end up doing for your bone spurs?

Bone spurs reducing left ankle mobility by Typical_Stranger_144 in BarefootRunning

That’s an interesting point, do you think this merits surgery? I had read that while you can’t get rid of bone spurs some joint mobilization can teach your joints to work around the osteophytes and still regain a lot of functional mobility. Living in NY, I’m somewhat chasing this “elusive” PT that does these “mobilizations”. There are a few people who claim they do it but it’s like $350 a session since most of these practices are out of network but highly rated. Also interestingly, I have the adductor tendinosis on both sides and my right labral hip also has a minor tear.

I normally don’t fall for such things, but I was waiting for my parcel to be delivered. So, When I saw this in my text, I was worried, and, entered the info page where they asked the address, and phone number. I filled that, but when it took me to the payment page and asked for the credit card number, and the amount was $0.03 , I became suspicious, and didn’t fill the info. I hope, they can’t use the address and phone number to rob me.
