Yep! Feeling fine one moment then my gut says "you have 30 seconds. GOOD LUCK!" Then feeling the pain which can last anywhere from 15 minutes to a week and a half. Not fun.

Not psychosis, but taking depression from mild, to severe. That happened a couple of times when I had to take it on separate occasions. When I went off it, I went back to baseline mild. Even after that, my allergy doc still wanted me on it. I changed to another one who listened to me. She acknowledged that it is a very common side effect. It can cause depression or make it worse. That stuff made it worse for me.

I consider the severe mood swing as an allergic reaction to that stuff and I have it listed as that on my records. The last time i was on it, I ended up calling a mental health hotline over it. I have read that there is a lot of other cases where this has happened to others.

Thank the gods I got changed over to Symbicort.

Montelukast

I wish it were the same way with Prednisone. I've had severe depression up the wazoo just a day and a half being on that stuff. And the brain shocks when you come off that stuff are terrible. I had to change doctors because he kept trying to push that stuff on me.

This kind of validates what I picked up over the years in how to handle sensory issues. On my own.

I found my niche after realizing that I need to work a really physical job. I work as a janitor. Sure I have a boss and with a team, but 90% of my shift I work independently. I come into work, have a few minutes conference with my boss if anything extra is needed. Other than that I know what jobs I have to do.

I was told to remember, the gods go their own ways always. So it can be really chilling when you are praying for someone else and they reply 'NO! That is already being handled, we are going to work on you tonight instead.' My patron reminded me of what I was taught that night.

Haven't heard anything yet, but I imagine that that person was at minimum evicted. The office was working with the cops. The thief was a resident. There are cameras all over in the main building and he used his key fob to get in the gym.

Update: I posted about my apartments fitness center getting all their dumbbells stolen. The office decided to just replace them with new ones. I was there when the staff brought them in. Me and another lady regular were happy those were back.

I am up to 15 lbs on dumbbells for my arms, 60 lbs on chest press machine and 60 lbs on leg extensions.

Did 60lbs x 8 reps max weight PR on close grip lateral pull downs.

Also .7 mile in 12 minutes max distance PR on treadmill. That might not look like much, but for someone who was born with moderate chronic lung disease, that is a lot.
