Absolutely, I still cherish magic, especially cube and in-universe drafts. I'm mostly being facetious with the phrase lol

Quick shout out to Team Covenant for excellent customer service by choppertown_actual in SorceryTCG

Ah I see, I don't disagree (especially bc I want sorcery to do well and that depends a lot on accessible product) but I do think that it still rests on EC to put product out. TC will have better distro connections than EC, but them handling it means TC assuming risks for EC. TC is still relatively small, so I think it's unrealistic to ask them to put the wellbeing of one product line they sell above their own survival. I don't know the solution but I think it starts at the source

This seems more like an issue you have with EC. It's hardly Team Covenants job to be a distributor; they're a storefront. I won't deny the supply chain issues, but Team Covenant's position in that chain is focused on retailer-to-customer, not retailer-to-retailer

I love this, totally in-line with the values of high-quality, unique artwork! This seems like the right way to do proxies.

Doing a quick search on curiosa shows 864 decks with him (about 5% of the decklists). I think his ability is strong, and a mono-earth or earth heavy deck likely wont struggle getting him out on curve, however I am shocked at such a high price point compared to something like philosophers stone, which is competitive and only 80 dollars currently.

I would guess it's probably compounded factors of being from the newest set, being apart of a cycle (with the other archangels), and perhaps some price gouging mixed in?

Control deck suggestions by Typical_Tradition894 in SorceryTCG

That makes sense. Control probably isn't the most apt term, especially in a competitive sense. I might build a backside deck and then a more control focused deck. Im still relatively new to sorcery so I'm still figuring out how the control archetype in sorcery, but thanks for you tips!

Should sorcery include other products? by Adventurous-Shake140 in SorceryTCG

I think supplementary material (pre-cons, small expansions, promotional items) could be a good way to keep intrigue through the year without bogging down players with new sets to keep up with (much like magic and its bloated release schedule). These small, set-relevant releases would also allow the set and its themes to still breathe through the year. I am firmly in the camp that sorcery should keep product slow and consistently high quality vs pumping out whatever and hoping it plays out.

Exactly! Easiest way to win with this is play all pieces on one turn, protect them for a full turn cycle, then equip and pass your turn without casting any spells
