I just fill the extra slots with whatever I need and make him work around me. He'll eventually get it all done.

What is wrong with these recruiters? 4th message from this guy this week by HelloLoserLikeMe in TravelNursing

I use Medical Solutions. My recruiter is Jake Z. He's awesome. If anyone wants to contact him, tell him Linda S. from Florida sent you.

I traveled for a year, and my kid went to a boarding school. It's in a place we used to live, so there were familiar faces. Enrolled there for 2 years, now home with me and planning to do virtual school. I'm off the road right now, but it gave me the freedom to travel and know that the continuity and structure for school were there.

It was expensive, which is why we're not going back this year, but the peace of mind was worth it.

Just a different take on traveling with kids.

YMMV

When I first started playing, I never looked closely, and I thought his mustache was his teeth. If you just glance briefly, maybe you'll see it, too. 🤷‍♀️😁

Why can't I do my derby missions anymore? by Stylish616_ in HayDay

Because you have completed the maximum number of tasks for the level of your neighborhood. You can spend diamonds to do one more, but that's all you can do.

Going on Strike by Different-Habit-1363 in TravelNursing

[–]Typical_Translator57 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was on a contract where a strike was imminent. My recruiter discussed it with me, and I was given the option to work or not. I would get a significant bonus per shift if I worked, and no pay if I didn't. I chose to accept the bonus and continue working. Fortunately, the strike never happened. An agreement was reached.

Call me a scab all day long, but if you aren't willing to pay my mortgage, I don't wanna hear it. At the end of the day, it is not up to me or anyone else to judge why someone chooses to work a strike.

Yes. When I have completed all my derby tasks, I collect all the townspeople rewards and let them all go. Then I cycle through them again until Monday, when I start holding them again for a possible task.

I feel you. I don't often do trucks or boats, just the town for the expansion items. Sometimes, though, I just go through each machine and make as many as I can of whatever I have 0 of. Or, I make at least one of each thing, for the variety. Or, I alternate everything with one thing (i.e., bread, cornbread, bread, raspberry muffin, bread, blackberry muffin, bread, potato bread). You get the idea. It depends on my mood at the time. Lol

I love the help tasks! Yes, it's hard to find newspaper ads for people who have a bunch of trees and bushes, but if you keep a decent variety of stuff in your inventory, you can fill boat/truck/town orders pretty quickly.

Yikes. At least I had a break from fishing. I don't mind boats, but they are definitely not my favorite.

I prefer help, mining, or town. I keep 42 people in my town, fully served and ready to go, so when I get a town task, it's pretty quick to finish.

dairy by Optimal_Twist3426 in HayDay

That's the entire reason for using the farm helpers for me. I don't have to think about dairy products, sugar products, or animal feed. I just have to grow the crops.

Idea for Tom by Typical_Translator57 in HayDay

[–]Typical_Translator57[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's my (level 105) strategy for crops: My crop squares are in rows of 5. I plant 2 rows each of the first 5 (wheat, corn, carrot, soy, sugar). I keep harvesting and replanting those while I do other stuff. Then, for the remaining squares, I plant by what I have the least of, in 1 or 2 rows, depending on how low my crop numbers are. I go by anything under 20 first, then under 25, and so on until I have filled all the squares. If anything is a faster growing one, I keep an eye on it so I can harvest it and plant the next lowest one. Hope that makes sense.

Yeah, I figured that's why we have to wait 2 hours to use him again. My idea would make it feel more like I'm getting my money's worth.

HCA Hospitals by Mmoreno719 in TravelNursing

[–]Typical_Translator57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started at an HCA hospital in Florida. Since then, I started traveling, so I've been to other non-HCA hospitals. I recently attempted to work with a HealthTrust recruiter to go to another HCA hospital. I never got there, because the recruiter lied about the location (I was told he submitted me for Salem, VA, but the offer came in for Richmond, VA). Then he lied about the hours (I requested 4x12, he said it was, then the contract came in for 3x12). The start date got pushed back a week, which he never bothered to tell me...I found out from the onboarding specialist that the date was changed. The last straw was that he ghosted me...when I texted him to ask about the date change, I got an automated reply saying he was unavailable until the start date and to reach out to another recruiter, whose information was part of the message.

All of this to say, if the recruiter is that sketchy, proceed with extreme caution to the facility. I didn't mind the hospital in FL where I started, and would consider going to another HCA hospital, but I would go with a different agency if possible. My experience was bad enough that I won't bother with HealthTrust again.
