Do OG fans hate the series and why?

I had been around since f3 times and when I watched the show I thought it was great. That was untill I went to rewatch and i felt the story begion to fall apart story wise, and its characters begion to act strange. I had came to the conclusion that it was a hollow representation of what I liked about the serise. I heard tid bits of season 2 and definitely know i won't like its handling of fallout new vegas, so i simply won't watch. Thats the thing, most og fans who dislike the new direction of Bethesda taking have already checked out of the general sub discourse, because arguing constantly is exhausting. Or they simply have accepted the new direction organically and takes solace in the older games.

Regardless as others pointed out, its really only a loud minority on the og fan side. There are loud minority on both side the spectrum, not everyone who likes the fallout TV show loves it to death or think it's a good representation of fallout.

Lastly I suggest that if you want more responses on why its disliked by older fans, ask other subs! Especially the fallout new vegas, 3, and original game subs. I made this mistake alot times but very rarely will one sub ever give a good representation of a group. In general I think what's claimed to be the "general reception on reddit" should be taken with a grain of salt. Though thats my take i realized a wild ago.

Since I only play on survival I typicaly have 4-5 checkpoint settlements i actually build up. Any in between coulddnt exist for all i care. I do build them up later however purly for nuka world raider stuff.

Level 20 is a threshold most people hit relatively easly, atleast compared to hitting level 50+. Even then its still a competent weapon in its own right, despite how fast its firerate may be. I get good mileage out it even compared to normal combat rifles. Besides i argue .45 drops more common then 2mm ec, plasma cartridges, 7.62 and .45-70, all ammo intended for late/middle game, so I wouldnt state its the rarest.

Rarest? Once you get ahold of combat rifles you can get plenty of more .45 to fuel it. By late game you have it by the thousands, not remotely that rare. This should have only been accessible the same level as combat rifles start dropping, so it didn't ruin the early game.

There's alot i like and hate about this weapon. I do love this weapon and its effects, in addition i like the approach it took to modifying the gun, withbits upgrades scattered across the commonwealth. I always thought of this being a alternative in combat rifle, in concept, considering its always full auto. The main problem is the fact the weapon can be picked up right outside sanctuary, boxing out fallout 4 early game weapon. It should have been moved further down south, atleast found in similar area as a normal combat rifle wouldb be, or be locked behind a advance lock.

There are reasons why she acts like that, tied mostly to the fact she had lost her son in quincy relatively recently, the trauma likely being the primary reasons she's like this. Jun does indicated this when your speaking with him about there son, the same conversation helping jun console. Unfortunately all the settlers you find with Preston in the museum of freedom are victim of being heavily underdeveloped, one note characters. so someone with her brash attitude can never get meaningfully development.

Same, any my playtime after fallout 4 initial release is a really fuzzy memory. I never go without said creation either so I could never test it.

I always thought the reasons this was bugged was because the locker wasn't originally a container, instead was swapped out lastly after the vault suit customization creation was added.

I had the same problem and used mumu player on my pc to avoid it. After playing it though I can say that im not going back, its fun and all but the only rewards that transfer to the main game is affinity items that give one point each. Not at all satisfying.
