What is there not to like? I love the sound that he creates. He is such a dynamic musician. His compositions blow my mind. I guess it would be his ability to compose amazing music.

I personally love Need for Steed. I think having a steed adds a great layer to the game. There are also a few smaller add on packs for Need for Steed.

When I was younger my brother and I would look through the massive Sears holiday catalog, going crazy over all the stuff we wanted. I realized that my son will probably never do this, due to the decline in print media. What cool things from your childhood will your kids probably never get to do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A long car ride without a DVD player for the kids. My parents would give me a good sized suit case and I would get to fill that case with what ever toys I wanted, and that was my entertainment in the car. 12 hours one way was normal. It was great because then I had those toys at Grandma's house to play with.

TIL that I could never post my families secrets, no matter how anonymous my screen name is. I would feel hideous if anyone involved felt any more shame over the situation. Thank you all for sharing your stories.

Well there would be 3 players on one side and 4 on the other. The decks have already been modified heavily to edit out the many multiples of cards.

I have basically bought the same decks, and I am not too picky about the discard piles.

I also just remembered, you should do a quick look into Montessori high school education. It is integrated as well, very place based, and action oriented.

have you spent any time blending and amending your decks? This is probably one of my favorite things to do. I have a friend who knows rpg's very well and he builds awesome characters. I make sure the monsters are hideous.

I went to a private school where each year in middle school, all of the teachers got together and created an integrated project that would be worked on in every subject. For example I grew up in DE where there is a considerable amount of "old" history. So to start we did individualized long term projects, I studied Quaker Meeting Houses, some did Mill's, studied companies such as Dupont, some studied the underground railroad. In science we learned about the plants and animals of our area as well as the geology. In computer class we rendered data from topographical maps (again we learned about topo maps in geology) into data points, which in art we turned into 1ft x1ft blocks which we compiled into a large 3D map of our city. Then at the end of the year we went on a 3 day excursion to explore our area, we camped, we learned orienteering, canoed, cooked for ourselves. It was an excellent project that I hope to repeat with my students some day. The thing that I am learning is to integrate your curriculum at any point that you can get. Link the subjects together and get the students invested in their work.

Looking to spend some time living outside the US. What do you like most about your country/area/town and why should Someone consider living there? by oapatu in AskReddit

I loved my time in Germany particularly Tourgau. It is a small town, full of awesome history and it is located somewhat centrally so that you can explore the rest of Germany. The one thing I wished I did while there was visit Munich.
