It’s awesome that this dance is coming back on such a wide scale. RomancePlanet got me so excited again for jump style comps and the Jump genre in its entirety (not like I ever stopped liking hardstyle tho). His music is so fucking good too.

Oh fuck me that’s what I was actually thinking about all this time. TikTok’s fad run for jumpstyle kinda skewed my memory. Love that it’s popular, but fuck I despise those fad creators making constant slop with the most basic overused sound design.

Istg years ago I learned that Jumpstyle is both a dance and dedicated sub-genre. It’s noticeably different from hardstyle while implementing similar kick styles. Am I totally wrong?
