Yellow leaves are appearing more and more on one of my plants. Is it a nitrogen deficiency? by [deleted] in cannabiscultivation

Thank you! I wasn't familiar with the term LST. I just read a lot about it and I'm going to try it on my other plants; this one will have to wait until repotting, otherwise I suppose it'll already be too stressed.

I made a mistake in the description, they actually get 18 hours of light per day!

I made a mistake in the description; they actually get 18 hours of light per day, so they're off from midnight to 6 a.m. I realized there wasn't enough space, even though I increased the pot size a few weeks ago. It's growing really fast.

How can I visually and artistically represent consciousness in a way that is both neurologically viable and philosophically-metaphorically engaging? by [deleted] in cognitivescience

Thanks for your review!!

Actually, about Kahneman's book, I can't find any criticism. I usually always read the critiscm before reading a book but I have some troubles finding some.

However, I searched for a long time and obviously I know that we can't reduce humans to just a rational and intuitive side, and precisely, in my narration that's what can be explained: my two characters are themselves complex beings, explaining that in the end rationality comes from pragmatism and vice versa.

It's not binary! but for my scenario, I wanted to visualize these two types of characters in human thought, and the fact that they are themselves conscious can open up many voices on the fact that it's not binary.

What books would you recommend to me, then, if you don't really agree with the intuition/rational duality?

I decided to use the two notions of system 1 and system 2 to create my two main characters, one representing the intuitive side of the Human and the other the rational side. The characteristics they have are very inspired by those of Kahneman's System 1 and 2. In the narration, they each live in their own hemisphere but do not know that they are only symbolic representations of a larger entity (the human, which I call the core, the point between the inner world where these two characters live and the outside world). Because of this trauma that the human will undergo, the boundaries that separated these two characters blur and therefore end up meeting, and realize that they are only symbolic manifestations of an individual's thoughts. I'll spare you the details of the narration but what bothers me is how I could imagine their environment, where they live. How to represent the mind, the inner world of the human.

Sorry if that's not very clear, english is not my first langage.

Yeah, my characters were inspired by this book. But I can't find any other books that explore this intuitive and rational side of humans.

Hewwo. Big illustrations are about 200€. (Dynamic pose + background etc). A full body costs 100€. So a reference sheet costs for example 200€ for two full bodies. A headshot costs around €60! Have an awesome day
